Associate Lead Analyst 1

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit aspects of structured finance transactions, including underlying assets, transaction structures, and legal documents
• Perform deal-level financial modeling to formulate and substantiate independent credit opinions for rating assignments
• Monitor financial industry conditions and trends to identify emerging risks
• Present transaction analyses to rating committees and author accurate credit research
• Conduct periodic reviews and updates of ratings based on market developments and transaction performance
• Contribute to special research projects and pursue thought leadership initiatives to enhance analytics and research impact
• Assist with process enhancement initiatives and gain exposure to ESG credit analytics

Requirements

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
• At least 2 years of experience as an Analyst or in a related quantitative analysis position
• Proven experience in quantitative financial modeling and statistical analysis
• Ability to analyze the credit impact of macro-economic events
• Experience reviewing legal documents, such as indentures or loan documents
• Strong skills in presenting credit analyses and authoring research memos or credit opinions
• Working knowledge of capital markets and financial structures
