About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze credit aspects of structured finance transactions, including underlying assets, transaction structures, and legal documents
- Perform deal-level financial modeling to formulate and substantiate independent credit opinions for rating assignments
- Monitor financial industry conditions and trends to identify emerging risks
- Present transaction analyses to rating committees and author accurate credit research
- Conduct periodic reviews and updates of ratings based on market developments and transaction performance
- Contribute to special research projects and pursue thought leadership initiatives to enhance analytics and research impact
- Assist with process enhancement initiatives and gain exposure to ESG credit analytics
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Analytics, or a related quantitative field
- At least 2 years of experience as an Analyst or in a related quantitative analysis position
- Proven experience in quantitative financial modeling and statistical analysis
- Ability to analyze the credit impact of macro-economic events
- Experience reviewing legal documents, such as indentures or loan documents
- Strong skills in presenting credit analyses and authoring research memos or credit opinions
- Working knowledge of capital markets and financial structures
