Associate, Investment Strategy

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing investments and develop qualitative and quantitative analytical insights on the portfolio
• Source and drive detailed due diligence processes for external investment managers across public and private asset classes
• Contribute to investment decisions regarding the selection, rebalancing, and termination of managers
• Serve as a lead representative to current and prospective managers and industry conferences
• Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with managers, vendors, legal counsel, and peer investors
• Assist with asset allocation reviews and risk management activities
• Identify, evaluate, and implement investment tools and AI resources for portfolio research and tracking

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional achievement in investment banking, consulting, asset management, or a related field
• Advanced research, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
• Technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with AI tools for research and data synthesis
• Understanding of alternative investments, capital markets, and related business, legal, or accounting issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading and mentoring Investment Analysts and Interns
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex investment projects simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering reports to internal and external stakeholders
