Associate, Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance

Responsibilities

• Execute a broad range of non-investment grade financing transactions, including high yield bonds and leveraged loans
• Perform comprehensive financial statement analysis and create complex LBO cash flow models
• Oversee the underwriting and approval process for corporate and sponsor-backed financings
• Prepare high-quality client presentations and materials to support new business opportunities
• Review key financing documents including credit agreements, offering memoranda, and commitment letters
• Lead due diligence sessions to evaluate credit risk and identify key mitigants
• Coordinate with internal groups such as credit/risk, underwriting, and sales & trading
• Provide training and coaching to Analysts and junior talent within the team

Requirements

• 2-4 years of work experience in Leveraged Finance, preferably with lead-left execution experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, or a related field
• Proven experience with credit agreements, offering memoranda, and engagement letters
• Strong knowledge of US institutional term loan and high yield market dynamics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to obtain and maintain required FINRA registration and licensing
• Experience using industry-standard data sources such as Bloomberg, LCD News, or Credit Sights
