Associate Investment Advisor

Responsibilities

• Partner with lead advisors to build and nurture relationships with centers of influence and business partners
• Support client growth objectives through proactive sales, business development, and marketing activities
• Prepare and execute client portfolio reviews, including meeting preparation and report generation
• Provide professional investment advice and explain wealth management strategies, including portfolio construction
• Develop financial plans to help clients meet long-term goals such as retirement
• Manage databases and provide support for analysis, forecasting, and data visualization
• Ensure all client sales and service activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk mitigation policies
• Assist in the creation of new investment portfolios and identify necessary adjustments

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience or certification in a related field
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
• Completion of the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
• Registration as a Registered Representative (RR)
• Completion of the Wealth Management Essentials course
• In-depth verbal and written communication, collaboration, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Planning designation
