Associate Inventory Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory mix, movements, and trends to identify financial risks and opportunities
• Support forecasting and planning processes by providing insights into inventory levels and supply dynamics
• Proactively flag mix imbalances, slow-moving inventory, and potential excess & obsolescence (E&O) risks
• Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and plan to explain key drivers
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to translate operational metrics into financial insights
• Support monthly close and reporting to ensure accuracy of inventory-related financials
• Assist in improving data models, automation, and reporting tools such as Power BI and Excel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Basic knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Exposure to tools such as SAP, Anaplan, or Power BI
