Associate, Insurance Product and Emerging Product Innovation

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of product and innovation initiatives across Oscar’s product portfolio and emerging solution domains.
• Analyze market research, competitive data, and performance assessments to support product strategy recommendations.
• Assist in identifying growth opportunities, including lifestyle-oriented products and population-specific solutions.
• Support the product lifecycle, including launch readiness, post-launch monitoring, and optimization efforts.
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs across regulatory, actuarial, compliance, and operational teams to ensure alignment.
• Track timelines, dependencies, and risks across concurrent work streams and product initiatives.
• Prepare materials and analyses for leadership discussions and governance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product, analytics, strategy, consulting, or insurance-related roles.
• Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate data into actionable insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ACA marketplace, Individual and Family Plan (IFP), or small group sponsored insurance products.
• Familiarity with QHP product filing processes and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting product launches or operational implementation efforts.
• Exposure to member engagement, rewards, wellness, or incentive programs.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, or MPH.
