Associate Industrial Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal security controls through compliance assessment reviews and inspections
• Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to ensure adherence to regulations
• Support Administrative Inquiries by collecting data, analyzing information, and writing reports
• Assist with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties, including inventory, distribution, and destruction
• Protect government, intellectual, and company information from unauthorized disclosure
• Support Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances
• Help develop and conduct security awareness training and education programs
• Perform Physical Security duties, such as completing facility checklists and reviewing drawings for classified areas
• Assist in subcontractor management to ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Industrial Security
• Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years or enrolled in a Continuous Evaluation program
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government polygraph
• Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Security or an equivalent field
• Professional certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, or COMSEC
• Experience as an Industrial Security Analyst or working in an SCI/SAP/Aerospace environment
• Familiarity with NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals
• Experience with A/CPSO, A/CSSO, or FSO roles
