Associate - Index Product Development

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and processes that facilitate the development of innovative passive quantitative strategies
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop client-centric and quality-focused products
• Apply expertise in portfolio construction and financial markets to index research

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field
• 3-5 years of industry experience in Quant Development or Data Science roles
• Strong knowledge of probability and statistics, including machine learning, pattern recognition, or time-series analysis
• Proficiency in scientific/analytical programming using R and Python
• Experience with database programming and handling structured/unstructured data
• Familiarity with investment theory or quantitative finance in equities

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Axioma or Barra Risk models
• Experience with NLP or advanced pattern recognition techniques
