Associate I, Patient Safety & Experience (non-MD)

Responsibilities

• Process case files according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Work with affiliate offices to ensure all required datasets are received and requested.
• Re-assess data to ensure accurate product selection and assign required event codes in the system.
• Complete initial and follow-up reporting assessments, including questionnaires and investigation findings.
• Respond to Manufacturing Quality Assurance (QA) requests and Health Authority inquiries.
• Schedule expedited and periodic regulatory reports based on local and international regulations.
• Launch required quality investigation records and support reconciliation activities and audits.
• Evaluate and escalate potential safety issues to management.

Requirements

• Knowledge of eye anatomy and eye terminology/abbreviations.
• Knowledge of ophthalmic evaluation procedures and common eye diseases.
• Experience working with safety databases and reporting tools.
• Proven ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to process and review Surgical – Intra Ocular Lens (IOL) complaint records.
