Associate I, Commercial Management - Surgical

Responsibilities

• Handle departmental quote, contract, and service requests from surgical sales, marketing, and operations teams
• Analyze historical data and trends to provide insights for process improvements and business challenges
• Update bills of materials by managing discontinued components
• Train new sales representatives on business processes, quoting software, and production workflows
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, text, and email using a cloud-based contact center platform
• Troubleshoot issues related to materials, production, or shipping delays
• Support sales representatives in securing business with high-volume accounts

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and communication)
• Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Ophthalmology, Inside Sales, Customer Service, or the Medical Device industry
• Certification as an Ophthalmology Surgical Technologist or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
• Ability to manage concurrent tasks and time-sensitive project deliverables
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
