Associate HSE Professional

Responsibilities

• Implement, administer, and enforce safety and environmental requirements in compliance with site, Bosch, local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain and improve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and establish corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct Gemba Walks, hazard assessments, and formal reviews of new equipment or process changes.
• Prepare and present HSE-related training materials and safety alerts.
• Coordinate site safety teams and participate in emergency response teams.
• Maintain documentation for corporate sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Interact with state and federal agencies (OSHA, EPA) and consultants to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of experience in a Safety or Environmental support role in a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial environment.
• OR High School Diploma/equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to travel occasionally.
• Ability to work onsite in Farmington Hills, MI.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Occupational Safety, HSE Sciences, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards such as OSHA, EPA, ISO, and RCRA.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
