Associate GRC Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external audits by gathering, organizing, and maintaining evidence
• Perform vendor risk assessments to evaluate third-party security posture and compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and contribute to maintaining the organization's risk register
• Support security awareness training programs and phishing simulation campaigns
• Map and cross-reference controls across multiple compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS, GovRAMP, NIST)
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, policy version control, and evidence repositories
• Assist in identifying and reporting on GRC-specific metrics for leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in GRC, IT audit, compliance, or risk management
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001, or GovRAMP
• Experience with or exposure to vendor risk assessment processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation across multiple workstreams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISA, or GRCP
• Familiarity with GRC platforms like Vanta or Auditboard
• Experience with ticketing tools such as Jira
