Associate General Counsel, Regulatory and Compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to sales and marketing teams regarding healthcare laws, including the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and the Sunshine Act.
• Manage the company’s global healthcare compliance and data privacy programs, including drafting and revising policies and SOPs.
• Educate business partners on healthcare compliance and global privacy matters.
• Assist with privileged compliance audits and investigations.
• Manage domestic and international outside counsel regarding regulatory and data privacy matters.
• Provide backup legal support for general corporate legal issues as required.
• Document product and therapy-related field reports within prescribed timelines.

Requirements

• JD degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• 8+ years of legal experience.
• Experience in the medical technology industry or a corporate legal department.
• Admission to a State Bar in good standing.
• Proven experience managing domestic and international outside counsel.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FDA advertising and promotion regulations.
• Deep understanding of data privacy and protection matters.
• Experience navigating OIG Pharmaceutical Compliance Guidance and related state regulations.
