Associate General Counsel, Product & Commercial

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead legal in-house counsel for the Beast Membership program, the Creator Global Platform and strategic partnerships
• Advise on new applications, products, features, and business models to identify and mitigate legal risks
• Counsel stakeholders on consumer protection, privacy, data protection, competition, and intellectual property
• Structure and advise on subscription offerings, including free trials and referral programs
• Draft and oversee sweepstakes, contest, and promotion frameworks
• Lead legal workstreams related to winner verification, age verification, and KYC requirements
• Advise on data privacy including COPPA-related requirements
• Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements including technology, gaming, sponsorship, and marketing agreements
• Support live activations, events, and large-scale productions
• Manage outside counsel on specialized regulatory and compliance matters

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar or eligibility to register as in-house counsel
• 8–10 years of post-law school relevant legal experience
• Experience advising on technology, consumer products, or privacy
• Expertise in privacy frameworks including COPPA, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Working knowledge of consumer protection and promotions law
• Experience supporting consumer subscription, gaming, streaming, or creator-focused products
• Ability to operate independently and manage outside counsel
