  • Oversee the Affirmative and Licensing Litigation Unit, managing investigative and trial work for deceptive business practices
  • Supervise a team of attorneys, ensuring professional development and adherence to policies
  • Lead legal strategy for emerging financial products like "Buy Now Pay Later" and Earned Wage Access
  • Serve as lead counsel in enforcement actions at administrative tribunals and NYS court
  • Provide legal counseling to other divisions regarding licensing laws, rules, and legislation drafting
  • Review and assist in drafting summonses, petitions, motions, briefs, and Consent Orders

Requirements

  • Admission to the New York State Bar
  • Four years of recent full-time relevant legal experience
  • Eighteen months of experience in a supervisory, managerial, or executive capacity
  • Experience performing highly complex and significant legal work
  • Membership in the New York State Bar in good standing
