Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close partnership deals, vendor agreements, and real estate and facility leases
• Lead the review and negotiation of commercial contracts, MSAs, NDAs, and other business agreements
• Develop company-wide practices and standards to mitigate legal risk across cybersecurity, employment, labor law, and consumer protection
• Build scalable, business-centric legal frameworks to support company growth
• Provide legal support across corporate transactions, including fundraising, tax equity, and project and asset financings

Requirements

• 4+ years of legal experience with a strong background in transactional work
• Ability to run independently within a small, high-growth business
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex legal concepts
• Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in ambiguity
• Commitment to working in-person

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in energy, utilities, or technology sectors
• Experience in startup or high-growth company environments
