Associate General Council - Privacy

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor for business partners navigating global, state, and federal privacy and cybersecurity laws
• Evolve and elevate established privacy programs to support enterprise-wide compliance strategies
• Lead privacy and data security due diligence efforts with precision
• Shape technology product development and commercial operations, including involvement in commercial contracting
• Provide legal guidance on emerging technologies, risk, compliance, and AI governance

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in good standing (or regional equivalent)
• 7+ years of experience in an in-house legal department
• 5+ years of experience with a specific focus on privacy law
• Proven management experience
• Valid work authorization for the applicable jurisdiction

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPP certifications
• Expertise in data governance and technology product counseling
• Experience optimizing and scaling existing privacy and compliance programs
• Deep knowledge of global privacy frameworks
