Associate, Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review monthly NAV packages from fund administrators, including management and performance fee calculations
• Manage liquidity for upcoming funding requirements and perform hedging analysis
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including producing original workpapers and analyses
• Liaise with internal teams in the U.S. and U.K., fund administrators, and external auditors to meet reporting deadlines
• Review quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements and footnote disclosures
• Assist with year-end audits and regulatory compliance filings (e.g., Form ADV, Form PF)
• Review waterfall calculations, PCAPS, and cash flow projections
• Monitor compliance with fund governing documents and credit facilities
• Prepare ad-hoc limited partner reporting and assist the tax team with estimates and annual returns

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in fund accounting or Big-4 accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with closed-ended (commitment-based) funds
• Experience with fixed income products, including direct lending, bank debt, bonds, and structured products
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with VBA is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA license
• Experience with Advent Geneva
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
