Associate Fire Protection Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply national and international fire safety and life safety standards across civil, commercial, and industrial sectors
• Draft technical drawings and reports according to company models
• Perform project reviews and code consulting
• Conduct field inspections, primarily within Italy
• Promote fire safety science and apply risk analysis models
• Study and apply fire prevention permit legislation, specifically the Fire Prevention Code

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering (Civil, Building, Chemical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Nuclear, or Environmental)
• Fluent written and spoken Italian
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 2D, and BIM 3D
• Willingness to travel frequently, including overnight stays
• Ability to visit construction sites for inspections and measurements
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Meticulous attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in English
• Registration in the Ministry of the Interior lists (Law 818/84)
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience
• Qualification in computer-aided design, specifically drafting
