Associate, Financial Due Diligence

Responsibilities

• Participate in buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence for Fortune 1000 and middle market companies and private equity investors
• Interface with senior executives of clients and target companies
• Analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, and working capital considerations
• Identify potential liabilities and risks that impact valuation and negotiation
• Create tailored transaction advisory reports covering normalized earnings, valuation model assumptions, indebtedness, and business combinations

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent experience in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction services, preferably with a Top Ten public accounting firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution or CPA eligibility
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, or SEC financial reporting issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel
