Associate - Finance & Assurance

Responsibilities

• Lead and support internal and statutory audit cycles, coordinating with external auditors and business units
• Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements in compliance with Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP
• Assist in designing and testing internal controls, identifying gaps, and recommending remediation
• Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of audit findings and management action plans
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
• Maintain comprehensive audit documentation and ensure readiness for regulatory inspections
• Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and validate financial data
• Assist in managing statutory compliances including GST, TDS, and other tax obligations

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 0-1 years of post-qualification experience
• Completed articleship at a Big 4 firm with primary exposure to audit and assurance
• Strong working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP, and the Companies Act 2013
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data modelling)
• Solid understanding of internal controls, audit risk frameworks, and financial close processes
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data analytics tools or audit software like Power BI, IDEA, or ACL
• Prior involvement in audits for listed companies or the SaaS/technology sector
• Understanding of transfer pricing, tax audits, or management reporting
