Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert to determine scientific and methodological aspects of Real-World Evidence (RWE) projects
• Independently draft and edit high-quality research proposals and statistical analysis plans
• Guide team members through RWE analysis components, including cohort creation, comorbidity analysis, and cost analysis
• Develop and apply data mining, statistical, and machine learning techniques to extract insights from healthcare datasets
• Develop software solutions and applications using SQL, Python, and R
• Support the development of visualizations and presentations for client deliverables
• Interface with analysts, data scientists, clinicians, and customers to ensure project delivery within defined timelines

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in data analytics and modeling, preferably with healthcare claims data
• Proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, scipy), and R
• Practical knowledge of statistics, statistical inference, and machine learning algorithms
• Experience with real-world data sources such as EHR/EMR, RWD, and healthcare prescription/claims databases
• Expertise in healthcare industry terminology and coding (e.g., NDC11, ICD9/ICD10, HCPCS, CPT, LOINC)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or a related field
• Strong organizational and client presentation skills
