Associate Equipment Engineer Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor equipment engineers and technicians, setting priorities and allocating resources
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of key production equipment
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major equipment failures and drive corrective actions
• Provide expert troubleshooting support for automation, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Drive automation upgrades and equipment optimization projects to improve throughput and yield
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and enhance reliability
• Ensure equipment complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards such as ISO9001 and IATF16949

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in advanced manufacturing equipment
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory role
• Strong expertise in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, servo systems, and industrial automation
• Proficiency with CAD tools and technical documentation
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Chinese proficiency
