Associate, Engineering Sciences

Responsibilities

• Support hands-on failure investigations, including comparing as-built conditions with original designs
• Perform field and laboratory testing and assist with field inspections
• Conduct technical research, data analysis, and complex calculations
• Review, sort, and summarize relevant technical documentation
• Draft supporting verbiage for technical reports and assist in creating demonstratives
• Analyze technical reports from third parties to develop concurring or rebuttal positions
• Manage workloads to achieve simultaneous project milestones while maintaining schedules and budgets
• Assist with client communications across various time zones

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Material Science, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or Building Science)
• 1+ years of experience in forensic or root cause analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced engineering degree
• Pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) credentials
• Competency in a second non-English language
