About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering technical assistance, including calculations, design, drafting, and research, to support scenic scopes of work.
  • Review vendor-provided design documents, including drawings, component selection, calculations, and test plans.
  • Edit and update Ride/Show engineering specifications to support scenic system delivery.
  • Assist in managing vendors through bidding, design, manufacturing, testing, shipping, installation, and commissioning.
  • Develop and execute test protocols, procedures, and plans, and witness or approve testing results.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities following established company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (e.g., Technical Theater, Architecture, Set/Scenic Design, Building Construction) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in theme park specific technical or engineering roles supporting scenic elements (e.g., rockwork, facades, artificial foliage, or themed concrete).
  • Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collect data and draw valid conclusions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Project experience within the entertainment or theme park industry.
  • Experience in theme park development, construction, or show and ride systems design and fabrication.
