Associate Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs
• Analyze user needs and software requirements for optimal operational efficiency
• Design and implement software modules for products and systems
• Participate in design, coding for large features, unit testing, debugging, and integration
• Perform code reviews, regression tests, and triage issues to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with project teams to accomplish objectives
• Write technical documentation for software projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience
• OR Master's degree in related field with 1+ year of experience
• OR PhD in related field
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with Database Management Software
• 2+ years of experience with API
• 1+ year of experience with Git, Perforce, or Source Code Management Systems
