Associate Engineer

Responsibilities

• Agree technical requirements of the client remit and lead the development of fee proposals
• Organise and lead the day-to-day workload of engineers and technical staff within the design team
• Ensure technical compliance of designs and adherence to legal requirements, CDM Regulations, and company policies
• Oversee the production of design deliverables including calculations, drawings, reports, and design risk assessments
• Identify and implement technical opportunities for value engineering
• Manage financial and commercial aspects of projects, monitoring progress against budget and programme
• Provide leadership to direct and indirect reports, including conducting inductions and performance reviews
• Maintain professional development and contribute to industry best practices

Requirements

• Chartered member of relevant professional institutions (e.g. CEng MICE)
• Significant relevant industry experience at an associate level
• Proven experience in designing temporary works
