Associate Engineer - Flight Physics Capabilities

Responsibilities

• Translate Flight Physics capability needs into technical method and tool specifications
• Design, develop, and validate Flight Physics methods and tools
• Ensure multidisciplinary integration of capabilities to meet technical and user requirements
• Analyze business contexts, design solutions, and present them to stakeholders
• Conduct feasibility studies within complex, heterogeneous project environments
• Ensure strategic alignment of software development activities regarding process management and tool chains
• Collaborate closely within cross-functional teams to support project implementation

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Engineering Design, or Computer Science
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with GUI and workflow automation
• Experience in Behavioural Modelling & Simulation and familiarity with requirements specifications
• Strong knowledge of Geometric modelling, Analytical Geometry, and Linear Algebra
• Fluency in English
• Analytical mindset with a creative approach to learning new technologies
• Ability to work with autonomy and learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java (eclipse RCP), or Javascript
• Familiarity with SAFe or Agile ways of working
• Experience with high-performance computing, remote desktops, and job batching
• Experience with Cloud-based programming
• Experience with CATIA programming or working with geometries
