Associate Engineer, Building Optimization

Responsibilities

• Support the management of a portfolio of technical building controls projects, including scoping, budgeting, and inspections
• Provide technical oversight by reviewing controls design drawings, project scopes, costs, and energy savings calculations
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as project completion rates and GHG emission reductions
• Facilitate correspondence with City agencies and building controls contractors to drive project management
• Support the expansion of building optimization programs using advanced analytics and preventative maintenance

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or mechatronics with one year of experience
• OR Baccalaureate degree in mechanical engineering technology with three years of experience
• OR Baccalaureate degree with a Master's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics
