Associate Engineer, AI/ML Process Engineering

Responsibilities

• Support the integration of classical machine learning with Generative AI for process applications like anomaly detection and predictive maintenance
• Assist in building NLP pipelines from SMT and Mechanical Assembly process engineering data
• Handle unstructured engineering data including equipment logs and FA reports for NLP-based automation
• Support processing automation and digital transformation initiatives using LLMs and prompt engineering
• Develop and maintain prompt engineering strategies and document experiments and system interfaces

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related Engineering field
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Experience with SQL for data mining and analysis
• Knowledge of statistical tools like Minitab or JMP
• Experience with modeling techniques including regression, DOE, and distribution analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Projects showcasing classical ML and GenAI solutions
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or standardized LLM integrations
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement in a factory environment
