Associate Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical control systems, control panels, and layouts using ePLAN P8
• Ensure electrical designs comply with customer specifications and international standards
• Prepare electrical and instrumentation documentation, including loop drawings and hook-up drawings
• Configure industrial network architecture and design wiring schematics for switchboards and PLC hardware
• Perform cable and busbar calculations, sizing, and cable tray layouts
• Select components for hazardous area electrical and instrumentation applications
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to fulfill project requirements and meet deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a similar field
• 3-8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering
• Proficiency in ePLAN P8 (including master database, reports, and schematics)
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens and Rockwell PLC hardware and field connections
• Familiarity with IEC-60204 and IEC-61439 machinery and switchgear standards
• Experience within the Pharma Solid Dosage Engineering industry
• Working knowledge of UL, CE, ATEX, and IP standards
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MS Project and Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of heat-loss calculations
• Proficiency in regional languages, specifically Hindi
