Associate Editor

Responsibilities

• Own drafting and editing for external content, including product announcements, partnership news, blog posts, and technical narratives
• Translate complex engineering and product systems into clear, logical, and accessible explanations
• Drive content pieces from rough inputs to polished, near-final drafts with minimal direction
• Adapt tone and structure for diverse audiences, including engineers, OEM leaders, investors, and media
• Collaborate with product marketing and communications to align content with company priorities and launch narratives
• Provide actionable editorial feedback to internal contributors to maintain high standards of clarity and precision

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in content, editorial, or professional writing roles
• Proven experience working with technical or highly complex subject matter
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clean, well-structured drafts
• Ability to structure complex ideas clearly and communicate them simply
• Experience working directly with engineers and senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and balance speed with extreme attention to detail
