About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality veterinary medicine, surgery, and dentistry for patients
- Manage patient appointments, procedures, lab work interpretation, and prescriptions
- Act as a clinic captain and mentor to inexperienced doctors and support staff
- Triage and stabilize urgent or emergent cases
- Forge strong connections with members through proactive client communication and conflict resolution
- Participate in team meetings to improve medical quality and clinic operations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic
- Medical competence in diagnosing and treating infectious, inflammatory, metabolic, and environmental diseases
- Surgical competence in feline and canine spay/neuter, mass removals, and laceration repair
- Dental competence including charting, X-ray reading, and extractions
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with POCUS and abdominal ultrasound
- Advanced surgical skills such as gastropexy or enucleation
- Advanced dental skills including gingival flaps and sectioning
