Associate Director/Director - Procurement Lead Life Science

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies for major construction projects
• Providing specialist procurement advice to private sector clients
• Managing and mentoring the contract management team for EPC/EPCM/DB contracts
• Establishing processes and standards for subcontract oversight and compliance
• Acting as primary liaison between internal teams and external contractors/suppliers
• Collaborating with client stakeholders to ensure contractual compliance
• Identifying and mitigating contractual and commercial risks
• Drafting RFPs, evaluating scorecards, and managing vendor procurement
• Tracking contractor performance against milestones and KPIs
• Managing the end-to-end procurement process for major construction projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
• 7-10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in construction
• Working knowledge of various construction project delivery contracts
• Experience managing procurement in multi-contracted environments
• Proven ability to implement procurement strategies and risk allocation
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills
