Associate Director - Upper Level Math

Responsibilities

• Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented classes while expertly managing the classroom.
• Partner with the Campus Director on the hiring, training, and coaching of part-time staff and teachers.
• Assist with campus administrative, logistical, and customer service operations.
• Support enrollment and sales efforts by meeting with prospective families to assess student fit and explain program benefits.
• Counsel current students and families to provide ongoing academic support.
• Design and implement campus community-building activities to support student retention and culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred in education or a related field).
• Strong content knowledge in mathematics.
• Minimum 1-year teaching experience (experience with advanced K-12 students preferred).
• Strong organizational and priority management skills.
• Ability to work a nontraditional schedule during the academic year, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree related to the subject area.
• Experience in leadership or management roles.
• Proven pedagogical instincts and ability to coach other instructors.
