About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic, participation-oriented classes while expertly managing the classroom.
- Partner with the Campus Director on the hiring and training of part-time staff and teachers.
- Assist with campus administrative, logistical, and customer service operations.
- Support enrollment and sales efforts by meeting with prospective families to assess student fit and explain program benefits.
- Counsel current students and families to provide ongoing academic support.
- Design and implement campus community-building activities to support student retention and culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (strongly preferred in education or a related field).
- Strong subject matter knowledge in mathematics.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience.
- Strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Ability to work a nontraditional schedule, including evenings and weekends during the academic year.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree related to the subject area.
- Experience working with advanced K-12 students.
