Associate Director, University Advisement

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of staff to provide academic advising, student intervention, and professional development support.
• Support students in their transition to the University to improve retention and graduation outcomes.
• Provide academic advisement regarding degree selection, registration, and professional pursuits.
• Lead cohort intervention programs and student achievement planning for students on probation or facing dismissal.
• Offer holistic advice on student readiness, including financial literacy and academic preparedness.
• Assist students with career exploration and align academic pursuits with career tracks.
• Hire, train, and manage staff performance to ensure a high standard of student care.
• Evaluate and implement changes to student engagement strategies and programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience.

• Previous experience in student services and academic advisement.
