Associate Director

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex engagements across accounting advisory, financial reporting transformation, and technical accounting.
• Provide expert guidance on IFRS, IPSAS, and transaction accounting, including business combinations and consolidations.
• Drive strategic initiatives related to finance transformation, accounting process optimization, and systems implementation support.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and key stakeholders.
• Manage engagement economics, profitability, and project delivery excellence across multiple teams.
• Drive business development by identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and leading client discussions.
• Mentor and coach Managers and Assistant Managers to foster a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow the ARC practice footprint in Qatar and the wider Middle East.

Requirements

• Professional Qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or audit.
• Substantial experience in a consulting or Big 4 environment.
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS, IPSAS, and complex accounting transactions.
• Proven experience leading large-scale client engagements and managing senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
• Regional experience in the Middle East is preferred.
• Willingness to be based in Qatar.
