About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the Cost Management team on specific client commissions and ensure delivery of all accountabilities
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and consultants across all project stages
- Develop internal cost estimating tools for real estate projects, including ground-up and fit-out
- Manage staff including recruitment, performance evaluations, and resource allocation
- Train and mentor team members in estimating, bid analysis, and cost forecasting
- Perform cost checks and valuations on large-scale projects
- Advise clients on value management, value engineering, and life cycle costing
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and reports using On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or Excel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- 6 years of experience in cost management or a related occupation
- Proficiency in estimating and data analytics tools
- Experience with construction cost drivers and market analysis
