About the role

Responsibilities

  • Analyze critical credit, legal, and structural elements of transaction proposals including securitizations, synthetic risk transfers, and private credit transactions.
  • Act as primary or secondary analyst for transaction ratings, forming analytical views and presenting recommendations to rating committees.
  • Defend credit views in discussions with issuers and investors.
  • Contribute to the development and iterative improvement of rating criteria and frameworks.
  • Lead or support sector trend research reports and specialized projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., finance, accounting, or economics).
  • 4+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Structured Credit, Structured Finance, Fund Finance, or Corporate Direct Lending.
  • Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personal responsibility and initiative in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated competency in credit analysis and assessing credit risk.
  • Proficiency with rating agency methodologies.
  • Ability to convey complex financial subjects clearly and concisely.
  • Knowledge of programming languages is a plus.
