About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the execution of strategic e-commerce initiatives and drive business growth for a portfolio of prominent consumer brands
- Build and foster trusted relationships with client contacts across all organizational levels, including C-suite executives
- Develop comprehensive e-commerce retail strategies, including sales forecasting, promotion planning, and digital media planning
- Extract actionable insights from large datasets to provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Plan, execute, and oversee PPC campaigns on platforms such as Amazon Marketing Services (AMS), Walmart Advertising, and Criteo
- Lead and mentor a team, providing coaching, professional development, and assistance with recruitment and onboarding
- Identify opportunities for new business initiatives and platform upsells to expand client accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 8+ years of relevant account management experience
- 8+ years of e-commerce retail experience
- 6+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze large datasets and present findings
- 5+ years of direct management experience supporting a team of three or more
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to manage complex workflows
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced business degree
- Experience manipulating data with SQL or similar technologies
- Experience working in a startup, retail, digital advertising, or e-commerce environment
- Proficiency in German, French, and/or Japanese
