About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for programming deliverables across multiple products and therapeutic areas
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of clinical trial programming to support regulatory approval
  • Lead multiple global projects involving cross-functional teams and outsourced resources
  • Oversee CDISC-compliant submissions and develop SAS programs for dataset and TLG generation
  • Review key documents including protocols and SAPs, contributing to data presentation plans
  • Drive standardization of deliverables and lead process improvement initiatives
  • Manage or mentor programming staff and oversee external vendors or contingent workers
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on SOPs, regulatory requirements, and programming standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's or advanced degree in computer science, statistics, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of statistical programming experience in clinical trials
  • Expert-level programming skills in SAS (R experience is preferred)
  • Direct experience with CDISC standards (SDTM, ADaM)
  • Proven experience supporting regulatory submissions (e.g., FDA, EMA)
  • Expert understanding of clinical data structures and statistical concepts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with R programming
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field
  • Experience with eCTD submission packages and define.xml creation
  • Ability to guide and represent Clinical Programming during healthcare authority inspections
