Requirements

About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as deputy director of sports performance, supporting administration and building relationships with head coaches and student-athletes.
- Develop and implement year-round educational programs regarding strength, speed, conditioning, nutrition, and regeneration.
- Conduct individual and group instruction in strength, speed, and conditioning training activities.
- Coordinate, implement, and evaluate student-athlete performance testing.
- Consult with University sports medicine staff regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation, and nutrition.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and orderly environment during all training activities.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and management of student interns.
- Perform other instructional duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field.
- Two years of directly related club or collegiate Division I experience.
- Valid Driver's License.
- First Aid/CPR Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or Strength Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) designation.

- Master’s degree in exercise science or a related field.
- Equivalent education and/or professional experience.
