Associate Director - Software Engineering

Responsibilities

• Build and scale Corporater's Software Development Centre in Bengaluru
• Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing software development teams and managers
• Partner with global Engineering, Architecture, and Product Management teams
• Drive Agile delivery, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement
• Coach, mentor, and develop future technical and people leaders
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and quality
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Product Management, Delivery, Customer Success, and Support

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of experience in software product development
• Significant experience leading software development teams and managers
• Proven success in building and scaling engineering organisations
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum-based development methodologies
• Solid knowledge of software architecture, SDLC, quality assurance, and DevOps practices
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in SaaS or enterprise software development
• Proven track record of building or scaling development centres
• Experience working within international and cross-functional organisations
• Exposure to Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), or Privacy domains
