Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of organic search Managers by setting performance goals and fostering continuous improvement
• Define and lead overarching organic search and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies across client accounts
• Analyze performance data using Google Search Console, GA4, and enterprise SEO platforms
• Collaborate cross-departmentally with paid media, content, creative, and engineering teams
• Present organic search strategy and ROI-focused reporting to senior client stakeholders
• Lead technical SEO programs including site architecture, Core Web Vitals, and advanced schema markup
• Experiment and scale AEO strategies to earn citations within AI-generated answers
• Drive local SEO strategy for multi-location and regional clients
• Implement AI-powered tooling and automation across the organic search workflow
• Track Google core algorithm updates and the evolution of AI-search features

Requirements

• 5–8 years of progressive SEO experience
• 2–3 years in a senior or leadership capacity managing SEO strategy
• Deep expertise in technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and link acquisition
• Hands-on experience with AEO and optimizing for LLM platforms
• Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Screaming Frog
• Proven track record of driving measurable organic growth and conversions
• Experience leading and developing SEO teams
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to synthesize large datasets
• Familiarity with AI/ML-powered SEO tools and generative AI applications
• Strong communication skills for translating technical complexity into business value
