About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify learning needs and develop strategic, tailored scientific training plans for Global Medical Affairs Oncology (GMAO).
- Create and update high-quality medical affairs education materials to drive deep understanding of oncology products, disease states, and competitor data.
- Develop and execute GMAO onboarding programs to ensure regional teams are certified as scientific experts.
- Collaborate with regional and country stakeholders to deliver training programs that meet specific local needs.
- Oversee vendors to support various training initiatives and implement innovative learning platforms.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and consultant for the GMAO team and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- PhD or PharmD with at least 5 years of healthcare or related experience, including 3+ years in medical affairs or training.
- OR a Master’s degree in a scientific discipline with at least 8 years of healthcare experience, including 6+ years in medical affairs or training.
- Proven experience in the oncology therapeutic area.
- Experience working within cross-functional teams.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% per year, including international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, or adult education.
- Background in curriculum development and educational outcome assessment using adult learning principles.
- Experience with pharmaceutical or biomedical writing and group facilitation.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong negotiation and influence skills.
