Associate Director, R&D Product Development, Wellbeing Collective

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical product development and commercialization for the Wellbeing Collective, driving innovation across the Americas and EU.
• Build and deliver a robust innovation pipeline in partnership with global marketing teams to support market expansion.
• Own technical delivery on project teams, ensuring execution against timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
• Lead and develop a team of formulators and process engineers to build strong technical capability and execution excellence.
• Manage external partnerships, including contract manufacturers and raw material suppliers, to ensure alignment on technical pathways and milestones.
• Drive cost savings and strategic business continuity initiatives to improve margins and operational resilience.
• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to define product designs and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Deep expertise in gummy formulation and ingestible dosage forms (powders, capsules, etc.).
• Extensive experience in R&D Technical Project Leadership (TPL) at a senior level.
• Mandarin fluency to effectively communicate with manufacturers in China.
• Proven experience managing TPL projects with a regional or global scope.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in an agile environment.
• Experience with dietary supplements and working within GMP environments.
