Associate Director - Project Management - Aviation Energy Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of cogeneration/CHP and related energy infrastructure projects
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities
• Serve as a primary interface with client, airport operations, airlines, and stakeholders
• Administer consultants, contractor, and vendor agreements
• Manage cost controls, forecasting, change orders, and claims
• Review and coordinate engineering designs for CHP systems
• Oversee construction progress, quality, and safety compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 8–15+ years of experience in infrastructure, energy, or power projects
• Experience with cogeneration/CHP, central plants, or utility infrastructure
• Prior experience with PANYNJ projects or similar public agencies
• Experience working in aviation or other operational/regulated environments
• Experience in an Owner’s Representative or consulting role
• Must reside in the New York Metro area
• Ability to work on-site at aviation facilities and obtain airport security credentials

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• PMP or equivalent certification
