About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute strategic direction for project controls including cost, risk, and schedule management
- Lead risk workshops to identify risks, mitigation actions, and owners
- Manage project budget approval processes and develop financial plans
- Lead the development and production of regular project reporting
- Review Project Master Schedules for sequencing and critical path elements
- Oversee project estimating and life cycle asset costing
- Develop change management and impact mitigation strategies
- Establish metrics for progress reporting, forecasting, and trending
- Lead the Project Controls Team and ensure quality control and assurance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or engineering
- 10+ years of relevant project controls experience
- 2+ years managing project control teams in a consulting environment
- Proven experience implementing project controls systems for major capital projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
