Associate Director - Programme Management

Responsibilities

• Define and shape programme strategy, roadmap, and delivery approach
• Drive alignment across functions and provide strategic guidance to senior stakeholders
• Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and internal standards
• Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management
• Lead end-to-end programme delivery including scope, timelines, budgets, and benefits
• Monitor programme performance through defined metrics and reporting
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and facilitate governance forums
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders and delivery partners
• Lead and mentor teams to foster high performance and collaboration
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and ways of working

Requirements

• Degree in project management or equivalent field
• Minimum 12 years’ experience delivering large, complex programmes
• Proven track record managing multi-workstream initiatives and senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong programme and project management expertise
• Good financial and commercial awareness
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong influencing and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or MSP
